I suppose that it would be really clever to say
at this point: 'brightness is in the eye of the
beholder' but I don't know what that would
actually mean :-)

I suppose that it should be clear that disagreeing
on something in a cordial manner should be 
possible, as it keeps the door open for future
discussions on a cordial level (whether in agreement
or disagreement).

It is often easy to agree on facts and even easier
to disagree on interpretations. When the inter-
pretation is not separated from the fact, then
one cannot even agree on the facts.

That separation between facts and interpretation 
is not always easily made.
