Has anyone experimented with shiny cylinders
on the 9 rosettes?
The spiral text round the centre of no 3 (with the
castle) caught my eye.The centre is empty.
So, by lack of better equipment I placed the
lipstick holder of my wife in there and strange things occur, but this device is
far from perfect ,,just like the prints so can't make much of it
yet.
Putting the cylinder in the centre one(no
5),something nice happens with the "mills", no 2,4 and 8.
They "hang" above the centre pourring whatever it
is downwards, like above the nymph with the cross on 79v. and
others.
Maybe placing a much larger cylinder in no5,only
leaving the outside ring gives a better impression, but I haven't found anything
proper to use for that .
Another example of cylinder usage could be
f86v4.The one with the moon in the centre and the four men around as the
"seasons".
The left man is looking at the left,the right one
to the right,the bottom one shows his front, the top one his back.
Placing a shiny cylinder in the centre ,goin'
around, one is lookig at the same person in the centre like walking around
him,though the armpositions alter...
For now, have to find proper cylinders or someone
who tells me to check the archives better before wasting time on something
already done before!
