VMs: ...And an idea for the labels
Dear all,
One idea for the labels:
In the "Sachsenspiegel", a German high-medieval lawbook, Illustrations
accompany the text of the regulations and laws. Pictures and text are
separated and linked by highlighted letters which appear in the picture and
in the relevant text section.
Ie, if one law started with "If any idiot should call you up after ten
during the week...", the capital "I" at the beginning might be highlighted,
and a corresponding "I" would be drawn above the image depicting the
crime/action/whatever. But the "I" would _not_ be the name of the law, nor
would it bear any direct meaning related to the image.
Just a thought. Perhaps the labels are not names, but refer to text passages
which describe the images?
Cheers,
Elmar
