Well er yes one imagines so. Other important developments included

Gates: I'll rid the world of spam
Daughter's fury at father's corpse in art exhibition
Italian men ditch their vests
Rolling a joint in the toilets of St Paul's Cathedral

And that was just the actual news. Most of the newsprint was devoted to 
things which have yet to happen such as a crisis in Parliament due on 
Tuesday, blizzards which may be coming our way and the US elections about 
the US elections about the US elections ten months hence.
