Yes, it undoubtedly would but such an identification could only hint at the
period DURING or AFTER which the VMS. had been produced. For example, if the
costumes belonged to, say, the 1450s, the Ms. would date to any time during
or after the 1450s. This is a bit of help but not a lot.
