I am unable to make "Der Mussteil" out of the marks but I have seen 
worse handwriting. 

I count 34 "keys" but only 32 lines. Will check that. No obvious 
correlation between the 15 evenly spaced marginal words and the 15 
unique keys. I am beginning to expect the unexpected in all things 
VMS. 

I am getting ahead of myself (again) so ignore for now if already 
discussed and I will come back to it if appropriate after I gain a 
belated footing:

What can be made of EVA-ch and EVA-air appearing in a column with 
single glyphs? If this is a different stage of encipherment it seems 
it would be a good page to attack. 

EVA-x might occur more often as a number than as a letter and the 
column could be numbers using letter-equivalent symbols. I have seen 
numbers in a column in a 15th C writing that were not in sequence but 
cannot recall what they referred to in the remainder of the chart. In 
any case, they each were on a line with other items.
