For example: as Rene has pointed out, the per-degree zodiac diagrams seem consistent with the kind of per-degree astrology Pietro d'Abano learnt in Constantinople (probably before 1293). However, that system (in turn) seems to have come through the much earlier Arabic astrologer Abu Ma'shar... and so we probably won't know more about that particular chain (tradition) until we can read Voynichese. :-)
