Re: VMs: Folio and Quire numbers

Hi everyone,

In his later years, Philip K. Dick claimed to be flicking inbetween two parallel universes, one of them where the Roman Empire never fell (and with Richard Nixon as the current Emperor in this one). He wrote about this (most famously) in his book VALIS: and might therefore have had little trouble answering the "Give two examples" question. :-o

Interestingly, there are recent suggestions that he may also have suffered temporal lobe epilepsy, perhaps giving rise to hypergraphia. His answer would therefore be unlikely to be short. :-)

PKD also apparently once experienced a bout of glossolalia, speaking in an Ancient Greek dialect: all good VMs motifs we've learnt to embrace. :-)

Cheers, .....Nick Pelling.....
