"April 15th 2004" is what Amazon was saying until a few days ago, which 
makes it look like publisher-supplied information (with Amazon slightly 
more in the loop).

FWIW, if I were an online bookstore trying to blag pre-orders, I wouldn't 
post up an August street-date in April. :-)
