I understand your point and completely agree. I now realize that the wording of the letter posted with the picture could lead to misunderstanding (namely  the instructions to me) and so I pulled the whole page out.  

Please believe that I appreciate your excellent work on EVA and the VM  - it is actually the basic stone our whole research is build. It would be foolish to modify the best thing we have so far and the fact that I was trying to do somebody a favour is no excuse.  As far as I am concerned there is only one EVA font and that is yours.
