I posted my (CopyFlo-based) list of bleed-across instances to the list a few days ago: bleed-across happens both left-to-right and right-to-left (and, on one pair of pages, in both directions at once.


However, I'm not 100% sure about the f59r (f60r is a page further on, surely?) bleed-across apparently on f58v: it was only faint on the CopyFlo, but in the sidfile the lowest mark looks less like bleed-across than simply a stray splodge of paint. Without seeing the other side, it's hard to be completely sure. :-o

But perhaps there'll be a photographic copy of it still in Newbold's papers, who knows? :-)
