VMs: Re: Who has actually seen this?

I was wondering if anyone in the listgroup has actually seen the manuscript
in person. I have friends who have read many similar manuscripts in
Strangaili. This was a temporary script used a long time ago to bridge
between languages. It was abandoned after a short while. The VMS is not in
Strangali, although many of the letters are the same. (When viewed in a
mirror.) The reason for asking if anyone has actually seen the manuscript,
is that all the old Strangali manuscripts were written on vellum using ink
laced with garlic. The old books had a distinct garlic smell about them. The
reason for using garlic, is that the garlic actually burned the vellum.

Just wondering if the same technique might have been used on this
manuscript.
