Re: VMs: Moder number (but NOT medievals!)
Hello Francisco,
I agree with what you write about the shape of
the numbers.
Most people believe that the page numbers were
written "some time" after the book was composed,
but there is no clear information how long afterwards
this was, nor whether it was by the author or a
different person. Arguments supporting both
opinions can be found.

I would be very interested in seeing them, but
it is not a good idea to send them via E-mail,
especially not through the mailing list.
I know that the Atlas Catalan is available on the
internet. If the others are also on the internet, the
best thing is to send the URL's to the mailing list.
If not, it would be best to put the images on a
web site of your own, assuming that you have one.
If not, I am sure that someone on the list can
help.
Have you ever seen a book called 'Libro del Tesoro'
also from Alfonso el Sabio? I think there are two
books with that name. One is a big encyclopedia,
but the other one, which is the one I mean, is
supposed to have a poem, of which the last verses
are written in code. I think that it is kept in the
Escorial library.
It would be very interesting also to see what this'
code looks like.
Kind regards, Rene
PS: I think that your computer clock is not set
correctly, and this causes your E-mails to appear
at the very bottom of the list (at least in my
E-mail application).
