Your "to" gave me this idea: consider English. What is the
frequency of final "ed"? Of "to"? Now what is the frequency
of "ed to" as in "tried to", "pledged to" and so on?

That was a rhetorical question of course. I meant to argue
that such peculiarities of Voynichese lead nowhere as long
as similar phenomena are not examined in other texts.
