Re: VMs: Rohonczi Codex written from top to bottom

Viorica Enachiuc claims to have translated the Codex Rohonczi. See:

I think it is in Czech, an other language I am rather bad at. From the 
example of translation given, I get the impression she departs from the 
document being written from bottom to top. On the double page displayed, the 
left has the miniature from page 16a ( 
http://www.dr-savescu.com/codex/original/original.html ). You will notice 
that Enachiuc's trancription reads:

line 1: IRIA LINIEA
line 2: AIRE TUSTI....   (or similar, not clear)
line 3: RAIKA OTITI....

Line 2 and 3 are from bottom to top over the miniature of the original page 
16a. I suspect line 1 is from inside the miniature top right, completing the 
reversed order. Page 17 is also transcribed and translated here. Bad luck 
however, the original page is not available. I am trying to contact Dr. 
Napoleon Savescu for a scan.

Curiosly enough the Viorica Enachiuc page also carries page 133 from which I 
deducted that the writing goes from top to bottom! A pity I can't read the 
Czech text to see if they draw that same conclusion.
