I agree with her, that some glyphs in RC are pictograms, but most make some kind
of alphabet(I told, my first guess about this is (old Eurasian or) "Turkish
Runes"). 
About pictograms:
one looks like mountains or forest, one could be fire, another some kind of
vigvam (dont be afraid ... I am not going to argue, its an early romantical book
about American Indians). To pose some questions, I am pretty curious about the
"sleeping S in dotring".
What could it be?
