The Italian text of the work reads:

Soli Deo Gloria

Compendiosa Spiegazione, della annessa Figura,
p[er] delucidazione del [cut off]
delli veri Adepti Filosofi, nel hermetica scienza.
Al piiss[i]mo e divino spirito del sempre
Augus[tissi]mo Imperatore Leopol [cut off]

Then it starts in Latin but changes back to Italian.

Anyway, this is either a reference to a Leopold
who is already emperor, or perhaps even after
his death. The change in language could be
an indication that the author's native language was
perhaps Italian.

Cheers, Rene
