What I remember is seeing it on TV many, many
years ago, so it is an existing building. It was
an Hagia-Sofia-like structure, but each hall was
dedicated to one of the sciences.

The nearest I found is the Al-Azhar University
in Cairo, but it does not have the layout of
circles I am looking for. My memory is quite vague
though, so this could well be it.
