in short, such a castle is a strong European connection, almost an argument
against any "non-European" origin. This is, how the illuminator understands a
castle. Where did he get this understanding?
If there were none of such towers about 1500-1550 outside of Europe, then it
looks like an European argument. If there were some (or even better, just one
piece), it should maybe checked out...
