Thanks for the info. Concerning the name, Voynich=Wojnicz phonetically,
so this is not a problem. But the middle (or whatever it is) which
you posted as:

   Antony Fulgantiz (sp? g looks like q)

is problematic as it does not resemble any name known to me.
Have you actually seen the original record? Or is it
a copy retyped by someone?

I understand there is no town name for the place of birth - just
State or Country?
