Re: VMs: Hi from another newbie

Hi

"Ottavio Strada: (Jacopo's son)
http://www.artnet.com/library/08/0817/T081703.asp";

Why Ottavio Strada's name is "a Rosberg"?

I otherwise found this in R.J.W. Evans, Rudolf II,
Verlag Styria, Graz, 1980, page 128 (my translation
from German):

"Wilhem Rosenberg bought in 1573 a palast neighbouring
 his own property in Prague and let it to be
transformed by Avostalis in the style of Serlios. In
1575 his friend Strada Serlios published his seventh
book on architecture. In 1600 Rudolf II bought
Rosenberg's ownership and incorporated it in his own
residence."
