VMS -- Botany (f38v)
I am wondering if f38v might be a variety of Sempervivum, maybe. These
roseatte plants appear to be close to the ground and not elevated on a
stem as in the VMS, except when flowering. Here is a case of where I see
a plant and try to get it to match a drawing in the VMS, sort of like
trying to fit a round peg in a square hole; however, it might work and I
may get and find a good match. The attraction here is that Sempervivum
is listed as an herb. I'll come back to this investigation later.

possibilities)
