Random thought(s) here - yes, I'm working on a page to show this in
english, but english has too many letters i fear... anyway..

If it is a codebook-based cipher, where each word
and each common expression of the plaintext is
replaced by a number, then it is equivalent to
a text written in an unknown language, with this
only difference that the word-order of this
unknown language will be the same as that of
the source language. Consequently, the "unknown-
language approach" cover the case of a codebook
 cipher.

with c's cc's and triple c's (3C's) IGNORED, a folded mirror
code would have very VERY few SINGLE "LETTERS" indeed..
the "c's" should only just point.. so "I am" becomes "c_cIccg"
"I" should be at least a "cI" something <--- non eva pair

still working on this ...
good luck on the rand move to cryptogram.org all
best to you & yours
