Looking at the image of the flio 57v, I think that this symbol is not repeated 
the same in the 4 sequences. The 1st instance looks as above and could also 
be interpreted like a <i> with a connecting bar. Using Frogguy's 
capitalisation/brackets rule this would be (i). However the other 3 instances 
appear as a curved stroke and would be more appropriate as (c) (or the left 
part of <ch>).

Now that we are on this page, here are a few other observations:

* <m> and <f> although similar seem to be different characters (see them side 
by side in the 4 sequences in circle text number 2).

* is &171; same as <p>? This is the only gallow missing and here we have this 
weird looking one instead. (also similar to the weirdo in f42v &h156;

* the character <a> is not as a single character, unless is part of a longer 
sequence.

* the radial text going from the centre towards 2:00, reads something like (in 
eva) <arararar>. This is quite a weird word.
