If you see many of the letters as appearing in pairs, this might be no more 
complex than (say) MMMM or XXXX, etc.

Previously, I've commented on the apparently obfuscated "or or or" on f15v 
line 2 (<or oro raiin>, which I'm sure you'd agree would be more likely to 
be <or or or aiin>).

There may well be many further examples of this kind of thing in the text, 
waiting to be found. :-)
