RE: VMs: Re: Currier A and B
Hey Gabriel, Rene, and all,
Why I was asking others to dig a little deeper is simply because I finally
figured out why I can only go a line or two before hitting gibberish, and
it's all tied up in the Herbal-A/Herbal-B thing. I'm reasonably confident
that I know why there are statistical differences between the two, (and no,
I'll only lay it out once I've got it all), but going back to that
transcriber's "feeling" I had that things changed even on a page, I had to
look a little deeper. The "89" page was to demonstrate to those interested
that this difference between a1 and b2 is a lot more than just statistical
mumbo jumbo. BTW, Rene, Gabriel, very nice work on your parts. I had read
your pages before on this subject but lost track. (The mind goes in and
out, you know....is it Tuesday? Then this must be Earth! [Mondays are
Hell...]) Thanks for the refresher. Very informative.
Breaking the herbal section down to a1 and b2 (48v is a b2 page, not an a1
page), these two categories are specific enough for another set of tests.
Once a1 and b2 are defined, three sets are now evident. Words exclusive to
a1, words exclusive to b2, and words shared between both. Remove from this
third list (words shared) small words like 89 that are common on ALL pages.
Picking a page at random, say 34v -
Here's how the lines break down - this is accurate but slightly generalized,
since the difference between a1 and b2 on these pages is keyed not directly
to lines themselves, but to another factor, heh heh.
Line 1 b2 Line 4 b2 Line 7 a1 Line 10 a1
Line 2 a1 Line 5 b2 Line 8 b2 Line 11 b2
Line 3 a1 Line 6 a1 Line 9 a1
Yes, it even goes deeper than this, but I've already said enough on this
subject. Any reasonably insane crypto-crackpot has just locked-on to where
I'm going with this. Good pizza is not a phone call away, and it's not just
an exercise in cooking - it's a love affair between the artist and the
ingredients....
Good hunting
