Hi Jean,
I made the rough translation of Lavinius's "Tractatus de Caelo
Terrestri" myself. In my haste, I missed a few basic corrections noted
below.
"The natural removes the substantial excrement, well with the terrestrial
limo (slime) that is converted
in later or will for adustion (scorching)."
"The art is above the
laws of nature and finally remains transformed in a king who infinitely
rebase (outgrows; is reborn?) to other truths."
In most cases the original punctuation has not been altered. For a proper
translation into English, my efforts clearly need further work.
There is very little on the internet that I have been able to find on
Václav Lavín.
