Re: VMs: VOYNICH, GARRISON, ETC

Dear all,

Further with Dana's recent post on the subject:

http://www.voynich.net/Arch/2004/07/msg00442.html

I just happened to browse COPAC:

http://copac.ac.uk/copac/

Searching V3 for Voynich (authors), I got some interesting results; first, our ellusive C.A. Edgell:

http://copac.ac.uk/msgw/wzgw?id=259670&f=u&esn=F&rsn=1&rn=49

Alas, on this one, about all...

Then, Garrison Fielding, perhaps more substantial:

http://copac.ac.uk/msgw/wzgw?id=259670&f=u&esn=F&rsn=1&rn=6

Main Author: De Voynich, Wilfrid M.
Title Details: Figurations of skeletal and visceral anatomy in the Books of Hours / by Wilfrid M. De Voynich & Fielding H. Garrison
Physical desc.: p. 225-230 : facsims
Note: In: Annals of medical history Vol. 1 (1917)
Includes bibliographic footnotes
Subject: Medical Illustration - history
Other Names: Garrison, Fielding H. (Fielding Hudson), 1870-1935

For holdings information select a library from those below. Those marked with an asterisk give current availability.

Held by: Wellcome Library*

Self explanatory? In the same COPAC, while searching Garrison Fielding, I have got the impression that this man was interested in many fields of research, inter alia the history of medicine, e.g. herbals...impressive!

Anyway, FWIW.
Jean
