I heard that a group of Linux hackers is already at work on a fully
free version of the MS-V: the "VoyGnuX Manudigit". It will be a
complete rewrite, without a single line borrowed from the MS-V, and
hence unincumbered by Microsoft patents or Beinecke copyrights. It
will feature words of unlimited length, sixty-four different hands,
user-configurable key sequences, and much more. Best of all, it will
come with *open* source text!
Rumor is that there is already an alpha release out there, which is
missing only a few pages and a couple of zodiac signs. The beta
version will be released as soon as someone volunteers to translate
the FSF Copyright into Michitonese.
All the best, ;-)
